“This active, adventurous lifestyle suited us for a long time because we were able to thrive by outworking the competition,” Daniel said. “We’d sometimes skip sleep so we could squeeze in a few more hours of work – even up to 20 hours a day.”

Daniel Stafford
Hey What’s up!? I’m Dan.
Most people around me know me as Tom Stafford’s son...the son of the legendary commercial fisherman from Homer, Alaska who holds the world record for the largest herring set ever.
I started fishing for my dad as a fulltime deckhand and the age of 10 and made more money from my crew shares as a child and teenager than most full grown men around me. This lifestyle allowed me the freedom to travel in the off-season, go on amazing snowboarding and surfing trips, build my first house when I was 18, and taught me many powerful life lessons.
Though I feel very fortunate for this upbringing and the lessons it taught me deep down I always knew I wanted to do something different and I just, plain-and-simple, never had a love or passion for fishing. It took me a long time to admit it though because it felt like the world around me expected me to be the next “Tom Stafford”.
I played the part for a long time and even went hundreds of thousands of dollars into debt to buy my first fishing operation shortly after getting married.
So how did I end up in ecommerce and digital marketing? Well, long story short...I got in some rough weather one day and rolled my boat. You can imagine the scene just like in the movies, the wave hit us, put us on our side, and the water began rushing in the windows and the doors as everybody remained trapped inside.
I lost everything that day and was almost responsible for the death of myself and three crew members. We all made it out alive but were very lucky to do so...People die on the water every year up here…
After that, I just knew that I had to do something different and was willing to do whatever it took to rewrite my story.

Robby Shwitzer
Hey, I’m Robby!
I used to be a commercial fishermen and my family's entire annual income was contingent upon fish showing up, my ability to find them, and my ability to compete with aggressive captains and out catch the fleet...
Thankfully I was actually decent at it and what we didn't bring in from the fishing season, we normally made up for in construction projects during the off-season.
This adventurous lifestyle suited me and my wife for a long time...but then we started having kids.
...and now instead of me and my wife going out, shaking things up, and catching fish together.
...I was now kissing my bride, and my brand new baby girl goodbye - so that I could head to sea for months at a time to get slapped around by the ice-cold Alaskan Ocean...just for a paycheck.
What once provided freedom and adventure, now felt so wrong.
What once made me feel like a king, was now my prison...
That was until me and my business partner (and brother-in-law) found a business model that allowed us to stop "grinding" (*sometimes for 20+ hours a day), risking our lives, health, and relationships, out on the ocean...
AND FINALLY become true entrepreneurs...
This model was digital advertising for ecommerce stores...
In other words, we learned how to work with the Facebook™ platform to bring life-changing results for our ecomm clients...
3 years later and now we're responsible for landing our clients 10,000+ orders a month and have generated over 5 million dollars in client revenue in the last 12 months alone.
It wasn't easy...and our friends and family wondered about us the whole time...We are from a town of 5,600 people for Pete's sake...But it has been a wild ride and worth every little bit of it.
